This morning room 22 played this game that had to do with thinking and solving problems. For this game we had to get into groups of threes.Given five objects and one problem .

Last week of term three.

It’s the last week of term 3 and it has been very busy.
This week has been very busy because there has been an production the tittle is called the Wipydesycal don’t get caught.

The production is one of my favourite high light because that is when i get to shine and when i don’t have to be shy,plus because I’m those girls who doesn’t like to be in front of people.

What i felt about that is happy because that was my first time in front of a lot people and now my shyness is out.

Every maths time room 22 is now going on a website called Maths Whizz .Maths is to do with numbers and it teaches you some maths skills.

"Goodbye Mrs Richards we'll miss you!
Last Friday it was Mrs Richards last day.Mrs Richards was a student teacher in room 22,she was one of my favorite student teacher.She taught me how to speak in her language also how to knit , told me so much about her self which was different to any other teachers.Hopefully she will came back to teach some more knitting.

Last week on Friday there was a rugby world cup down at Eden park New Zealand vs Tonga.
At the moment Tonga lost by 41 points but maybe next time they will try to do better.Hopefully...

Champions

“YYAAAYY”!!! jumping up and down our boys is New Zealand winners.
last week the year 8 7s rugby team went down to Tauranga to have their game.
They had to challenge 32 school to become the NZ champions.

When They came back ,they came back with wonderful news and the wonderful news
was that their the new NZ new champions.When I heard that I very happy of them because
The schools that I've been in haven't been a champion of New Zealand and hopefully we'll be it next year too.

Global Community

Each country has their own flag and they all have different uniforms and languages. Some prepare and create their own foods, different chants,colours,clothing ,money and hair.
The countries that are coming here for the rugby world cup gather and meet up like a family.

On Tuesday the 24Th of August team 5 walked down to the bottom field to have our very first
team challenge.There were 4 activity Mr Harris' activity was one of them and so as Mrs Laitupu,
Mrs Nua, and so as miss Tito.They all have different and fun activity that we have to do.

The first activity and teacher that we had was Miss Tito.Miss Tito's activity was the hadst
because we had to use a sling shot and a ball.What we had to do with the ball is put it in the front of the sling shot and then let it make its way into the hoop.If we get it in the hoop then its worth 50 points if it gos in the pink hoop then its Worth 100 points.As we getting to started for our lesson some of us were nerves and didn't want to have a go.
As the first person went up he sling shot it and my class and I was all chairing because the ball was almost in but it missed a hoop.While the others had there turn I was at the back of the line waiting excitedly.
“Yey! finely it’s my turn I couldn't wait till now.Once I sling shot the ball try to lands on the one of the hoops ,”in....in...in..NO! it missed maybe next time I’ll try better hopefully....

M.I test

In Room 22 we have taken a M.I test to see what was our Multiple Intelligences are.
These are my top 3 strengths, Interpersonal Naturalistic and Musical.
The 3 intelligences I need to work on are visual spatial , Kinaesthetic , Linguistic , Logical and Interpersonal.

This is a slide show of when we had our first and last rugby league session. Hope you enjoy.

In room 22 we have been designing some furniture for the street because we identified a need that the student’s were not respecting the street.

Then we had to research for furniture for the street. One of our problem that we had was seating.
We chose seating because at lunchtime we have no where to sit but the ground.

We had to get into two pear’s I was with Cael .Cael was the one that chose seating she said she chose it because she was sick of siting on the ground and so am I.So when we had to make our furniture we use her net-book to look up for furniture.

As we found one we had to change some part’s of the seating so it could be our own design.What we change about the chair was the shape of the part that we have to sit on ,the leg’s and I think the shape of the part that we have to lean on.


Any way's I can't wait till it's done so I can see what it looks like when it's done I can't wait to make soon.

Science Roadshow

Last week the 9Th of June the year 7&8’s walked down to Tamaki College to watch a show called the Science Roadshow. We went there because it was related to our topic Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger.

Each class went to Tamaki College at different times, also when we left we all were split into 6 groups and in each group there was 4 people so in my group there were Lesley, Beni, Miracle and Victoria who was our group leader.

When we got there a tall man said he called himself Paul so we called him Paul.
He told us if we would like to go for a wonder around to look at different sorts of technology and some of the stuff that was invented like the air ball, piano and Braille. We had to go into our group that Ms Tito had put us in.

As we were wondering around my group was all over the place, but not me and Victoria. The first place that we went to was sound, in there was some stuff that we hadn't seen in our life. The first thing that we saw was the magic hands The magic hands is something where you have to put your hands on these metal circles and once you do this a sound happens.

Taonga Time

Evey Friday for a hour and a half the year 7&8 has Taonga time. Taonga is when our classe's get split up into groups and goes into different classes and Mr Burks class too. We go there to learn about the teachers different passion. For ex-sample my teacher for Taonga time loves art.

At Taonga time we have been learning about a man called Friedensrech Hundertwasser.
What I learn about him is that he don’t like using lines and he likes making thing colorful ,here
some picture of his artwork and also a picture of him too.

CREATIVITY...

In room22 we have been learning about creativity. We had to create our names with different patterns. Creativity is about, thinking, vision, talent, originality and also inspiration. I got the letters my name from images on the Internet.

What I improved in term1

One of the things that I’ve improved last term was my art work.
I chose my art work because I really love art and plus I got a big excellent from Miss Tito and some good marks on my report, which means I did alright.
The thing that I also improved in was my D.O.L because it was my first time
doing something like that, I had a good report.

is art and maths,the thing that I don’t like to do at school is writing.
