Valerie Adams Falls To Second place

“Please make it.....Please make it....as I’m nervously  biting my nails together and getting an unaccepted butterflies hooked and sliding around in my tummy. “Aww second place that will do”.

An 27 year old girl named Valerie Adams , took place in shot put which was set in London who had given up her life to sports. The shock of being the one to discover that Valerie hadn’t entered in her event.

Sadly Valerie Adams could not get close to an outstanding throws of shot put from Nadzeya Ostapchuk who had took the gold medal.But Valerie Adams second throws was further and better. “I’m really disappointed at letting down the people of New Zealand , But will try to take place in GOLD” Valerie Adams says with tears of joy.

Valerie Adams is one of the greatest shot putter. She maybe came second but
will do better next time.

Go For Gold.

In room 18 and around Pt England school we all have been learning or finding  information about the Olympic the reason way is because it has to do with our term 3 topic Go For Gold.The sport I’m gonna be talking about is netball and. The reason why is because it’s  one of my favourite events .


In Pt England we have had netball living in our school for about 15 years. Every
Tuesdays and Thursday that’s the day for our game night from about four to six ,
The type style we have to wear was a skirt and a T-shirt and last of all a pip.

My goal for this term is to work hard on my 
skills and to be fit.


I am looking forward to see what’s the topic for next term and
hopefully we will win all our games and mostly have FUN!

In room 18 we all have been told to pick our favourite place around the school, or at the Pt England reserve and take photos of our favourite place . One of the reason why is for term two , our topic is art Alive. Once we have taken our photo of what we wrote about and  what we enjoyed about then , post  it on our school blog.

Introducing the my favourite place Pt England beach . I picked Pt England beach
because it’s peaceful and  a nice place to have a picnic and relax. I don’t go there often but that’s what makes it so special.

The reason why I picked this picture is because I like the reflection
of the rock and how the white blends in with the picture, also how the
waves curve.

The artist I’ve chosen is Vincent Van Gogh , the reason why is because I really 
like how he contrast his  colours and his paintings, looks kind of realistic.What I also like
about his work is the type of pattern he uses.

I am looking forward to see what it looks like when it’s been drawn and
painted but mostly it will end up just the same as Vincent Van Gogh.

Picasso full name is  Malaga , Spain , Pablo , Picasso , he  was called Malaga , spain because he was born in Malaga and he lived in Spain he was one of the  greatest and famous artist  of the 20th century and  Cubism .He was known as a Spanish expatriate painter and a stage designer. He was Madrid painter .

He loves to use the colour blue in his paintings that mean Period portrayals of beggars and prostitutes, workers and drinkers.

When ever a song of a bird or look at the blue blue sky , when ever I touch a velvet rose or when the wind as it rushes by. Your eyes are beautiful like a butterflies wings , your hair is bright like the sun , your tall like a sky tower , your my best friend and nothing will stop it from me.

Camp day 1

Walking pass the gates on our way to the Pt England beach for our activity Kayaking. When we got there Mr Burt had given us (Respect crew) some rules and how to use the kayak er. As he was done we had to chose an kayak there were or sorts of kayaks. There were single ones and one that you had to get into partners. As I went to pick I pick the partner one my partner was Chanel. Chanel and I went off into the water trying to push the water with our paddle it pretty hard at times but we still had fun.


Coming back to get ready for our next activity.
